Green Beans, Potatoes and Sausage
1 lb. smoked sausage or lite smoked sausage
1 lb. fresh green beans, trimmed and cut in half
1/2 t. garlic salt
1/2 t. soy sauce
1 lb. new potatoes, scrubbed and cut into pieces

Cut the sausage diagonally into 1/2-inch slices.  Put the sausage and beans into a large pot with water to cover.  Add the garlic salt and soy sauce.  Bring the water to a boil, add the potatoes and simmer, stirring occasionally for 15-20 minutes.  You want both the beans and the potatoes to be tender but not mushy.  Serve this right from the pot with bread or rolls.  Makes 4 servings.
